Looking for hunting RV camping in Dubois with room for a trailer and an extra truck? The most useful question is not just whether a park accepts hunting guests. It is whether the campground can accommodate your actual combination of vehicles and how you plan to use them during the stay.
Tell us about the whole setup
Windhaven welcomes guests bringing hunting trailers, enclosed trailers, ATVs and extra vehicles. Before arrival, call with your RV length, trailer length and the number of trucks or other vehicles you will bring. Describe whether the trailer will remain attached, be unhitched, or need a separate parking arrangement.
Site placement, additional space and any extra charges are discussed case by case. We do not publish a blanket promise of unlimited parking or free extra spaces. A short call lets us talk through the arrangement before you reach the campground.
Choose a site for the way you will use it
Think about the practical routine: leaving early, loading equipment, moving a truck and returning with a trailer. Review the Windhaven campground map, then discuss the best available setup with us. Availability for a standard RV booking does not automatically confirm every oversized combination.
Have the everyday essentials close by
Windhaven offers water, sewer and 30/50-amp power at full-hookup RV sites. Restrooms, showers and laundry remain open all winter. Those facilities make a difference when you are using your RV as a working trip base rather than stopping for one night.
Bring a heated water hose when conditions call for it, along with the equipment your own rig requires for cold-weather operation. Browse our campground amenities for the confirmed facilities.
Plan arrival and a longer stay
Check-in is 2 p.m. and checkout is 11 a.m. Early check-in or late checkout needs advance approval and depends on availability. Quiet hours run from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.; keep packing and early departures considerate of other guests.
If you need a week or a month, call us. We can discuss dates and arrangements rather than leaving you to piece together a longer stay from nightly reservations.
Separate lodging plans from hunting plans
Our Hunting Basecamp page describes staying at Windhaven. Licenses, access, hunt dates and any guided services must be arranged separately using the Wyoming Game and Fish resources and your chosen outfitter where applicable.
