Weekly and monthly RV stays in Dubois give you a different way to experience Wyoming: fewer pack-up mornings, more flexibility for outings and time to enjoy ordinary days beside the Wind River. At Windhaven, longer stays are a call-us arrangement. Contact us to discuss dates and availability rather than assuming a nightly booking automatically creates a weekly or monthly rate.
Start with the dates and the whole RV setup
Call (307) 855-5427 with your proposed arrival and departure dates, RV type and length, tow vehicle and any extra trailers or vehicles. Explain whether the dates are fixed or flexible. That gives us a useful starting point for discussing a suitable site and arrangement.
If you may want to extend the stay, mention that early. Availability can change, and an extension should be confirmed rather than assumed. We do not publish a universal longer-stay price in this article because the arrangement needs to be discussed directly.
Confirm the terms before committing
- Which site is available for the entire period?
- What is the total quoted cost, including applicable taxes or fees?
- Which utilities and services are included in that particular arrangement?
- What payment schedule and cancellation terms apply?
- How are extra vehicles or trailers accommodated?
- What happens if you need to shorten or extend the stay?
These are questions to settle before booking, not a new set of promises or resort policies. Make sure everyone is working from the same confirmed arrangement.
Think about the everyday routine
During the regular season, Windhaven sites include water, sewer and 30/50-amp electric service, plus restrooms, showers, laundry and a fenced dog park. During the off season, electricity, sewer and Wi-Fi remain available while campground water, showers and laundry are unavailable. Review our amenities and guest guidelines. Check-in is 2 p.m., check-out is 11 a.m., and quiet hours are 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.
A longer stay gives you time to discover what makes a day comfortable: a morning walk, a town errand, an outing and time back at your RV. You do not have to turn every day into a sightseeing project.
Spread the bigger experiences across the stay
Plan a museum day, a fishing outing or a regional drive when the weather and your energy suit them. Our Yellowstone, Grand Teton and Jackson Hole guide explains the regional home-base approach. Keep the drive to each actual destination in mind; Windhaven is in Dubois, not inside the parks.
For current local ideas, consult Destination Dubois. Contact activity operators separately for availability and prices. A longer campsite stay does not bundle excursions into the reservation.
Plan for the season you will actually be here
Windhaven is open year-round. During the off season, electricity, sewer and Wi-Fi remain available. Campground water is shut off for the season, and showers and laundry are unavailable, so arrive with your fresh-water tank filled and prepare your RV for cold-weather operation. Check WYDOT road conditions before arrival and regional drives.
